AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 159

2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 159 on page 2, line
3 33, after "Nurse Agency Licensing Act,", by inserting "the
4 Hospital Licensing Act,"; and
 
5 on page 4, by replacing lines 20 through 28 with the following:
6 "home services agencies."; and
 
7 on page 5, by replacing lines 4 through 11 with the following:
8 "agencies."; and
 
9 on page 6, line 19, after "each", by inserting "single home
10 health agency"; and
 
11 on page 6, by replacing lines 21 through 28 with the following:
12     "(d) The Department shall establish, by rule, a system
13 whereby an entity that meets the requirements for licensure may
14 obtain licensure singly or in any combination for the
15 categories authorized under this Act. The Department shall
16 develop and implement one application to be used even if a
17 combination of licenses authorized under the Act is sought.
18 Applicants for multiple licenses under this system shall pay
19 the higher of the licensure fees applicable. Fees collected
20 under this system shall be deposited into the Home Care
21 Services Agency Licensure Fund."; and

2 "home health agency profession. Of these 5, one shall represent
3 voluntary home health agencies, one shall represent for-profit
4 home health agencies, one shall represent private
5 not-for-profit home health agencies, one shall represent
6 institution-based home health agencies, and one shall
7 represent home health agencies operated by local health
8 departments. Four of the appointed members shall represent the
9 home services agency profession. Four of the appointed members
10 shall".
