AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2237

2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2237 on page 2,
3 after line 30, by inserting the following:
4     "(g) The Department may not meet any usual and reasonably
5 predictable nursing needs that arise from the implementation of
6 the provisions of this Section by imposing mandated overtime on
7 other direct-care staff who are not included in the definition
8 of "nurse" under subsection (a). A violation of this subsection
9 may be the subject of a complaint and resolution process as
10 provided in subsection (e)."; and
 
11 on page 4, after line 21, by inserting the following:
12     "(g) The Department may not meet any usual and reasonably
13 predictable nursing needs that arise from the implementation of
14 the provisions of this Section by imposing mandated overtime on
15 other direct-care staff who are not included in the definition
16 of "nurse" under subsection (a). A violation of this subsection
17 may be the subject of a complaint and resolution process as
18 provided in subsection (e)."; and
 
19 on page 6, after line 9, by inserting the following:
20     "(g) The Department may not meet any usual and reasonably
21 predictable nursing needs that arise from the implementation of
22 the provisions of this Section by imposing mandated overtime on
23 other direct-care staff who are not included in the definition
24 of "nurse" under subsection (a). A violation of this subsection

3 on page 7, after line 32, by inserting the following:

8 of "nurse" under subsection (a). A violation of this subsection

11 on page 9, after line 22, by inserting the following:
12     "(g) The Department may not meet any usual and reasonably

14 the provisions of this Section by imposing mandated overtime on

16 of "nurse" under subsection (a). A violation of this subsection

19 on page 11, after line 12, by inserting the following:
20     "(g) The Department may not meet any usual and reasonably
21 predictable nursing needs that arise from the implementation of
22 the provisions of this Section by imposing mandated overtime on

24 of "nurse" under subsection (a). A violation of this subsection
25 may be the subject of a complaint and resolution process as
