1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2257
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2257 on page 1, by
3 replacing lines 21 through 26 with the following:
4 "directed by the State Superintendent of Education. If a child
5 who was eligible to receive services under this Section is
6 eligible for the subsidized adoption program available through
7 the Department of Children and Family Services and is adopted
8 and continues to receive support services from the Department
9 of Children and Family Services, then the child shall continue
10 to be eligible to receive services under this Section and the
11 school district shall continue to be reimbursed under this
12 Section. The changes made to this Section by this amendatory
13 Act of the 94th General Assembly apply only to eligible
14 children adopted on or after August 1, 2005.".
