1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2257
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2257 on page 1, by
3 replacing lines 21 through 26 with the following:
4 "directed by the State Superintendent of Education. If a child
5 who was eligible to receive services under this Section (i) is
6 eligible for the subsidized adoption program available through
7 the Department of Children and Family Services or is under
8 subsidized guardianship and (ii) continues to receive support
9 services from the Department of Children and Family Services,
10 then the child shall continue to be eligible to receive
11 services under this Section and the school district shall
12 continue to be reimbursed under this Section. The changes made
13 to this Section by this amendatory Act of the 94th General
14 Assembly apply only to children who are eligible for the
15 subsidized adoption program or who are under subsidized
16 guardianship on or after the effective date of this amendatory
17 Act of the 94th General Assembly.".
