1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3036
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3036 on page 4,
3 immediately below line 5, by inserting the following:
4 "(d) A manufacturer or retailer of computer equipment shall
5 not be liable under this Act to the extent that the
6 manufacturer or retailer is providing third-party branded
7 software loaded on the equipment they are manufacturing or
8 selling."; and

9 on page 8, line 5, after "computer", by inserting "hardware
10 or".
