SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with regret of the death in Iraq of Illinois National
4 Guard Specialist Brian A. Wright of Keensburg on Tuesday,
5 December 6, 2005; and
 
6     WHEREAS, He was born on December 27, 1985, in Mt. Carmel to
7 Allan and Shirley (Kinder) Wright; he was a 2004 graduate of
8 Mt. Carmel High School, was a good student, active in sports,
9 and was respected as a leader by all who knew him; and
 
10     WHEREAS, He was was serving as a combat engineer in Iraq
11 with the 135th Engineering Company A of the Illinois National
12 Guard based in Lawrenceville; he had enlisted in the Illinois
13 Army National Guard in November of 2003; and
 
14     WHEREAS, The passing of Specialist Brian A. Wright has been
15 deeply felt by many, especially his parents, Allan and Shirley
16 (Kinder) Wright; his brother, Lance Corporal David (Danielle)
17 Wright; his sister, Rachelle; his paternal grandparents,
18 Leonard and Glenda Wright; his aunts and uncles, Ken and Lil
19 Kinder, John and Lisa Kinder, Beverly Kinder, Terry and Judy
20 (Kinder) Barker, Bonnie Weaver, Larry Williams, and Theresa and
21 Wes Hawthorne; and his cousins, Bill, Abby, and Josh Kinder,
22 Steve Weaver, Jeff Kinder, Eric and Thomas Hawthorne, and Josh
23 Lesler; he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents,
24 Carl and Dorothy Kinder; his aunt, Sherry Lesler; and his
25 cousin, Katie Kinder; therefore, be it
 
26     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
27 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
28 Specialist Brian A. Wright, and we extend our sincere
29 condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
30 him; and be it further

1     RESOLVED, That we honor the memory of Specialist Wright and
2 his willingness to serve his country, which led to him making
3 the ultimate sacrifice; and be it further
 
4     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5 presented to his family as an expression of our deepest
6 sympathy.
