| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, We have learned with sadness that James E. "Jimbo" | 3 |
| (Dino) Haberski of Beach Park, Illinois passed away on December | 4 |
| 6, 2006; and
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Haberski was born in North Chicago on December | 6 |
| 28, 1946, the son of Edward S. and Lottie (Dudek) Haberski and | 7 |
| was educated in the schools of North Chicago; and
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Haberski was a Sergeant in the United States | 9 |
| Army during the Vietnam War from 1966 until 1968, during which | 10 |
| time he earned a Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB); and
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Haberski and Joan M. Frederking-Petri were | 12 |
| married on June 22, 2002 in Kenosha; and
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Haberski was a member of the National Harley | 14 |
| Owners Group (H.O.G.) Chapter and Disabled American Veterans | 15 |
| (DAV) of Lake County; he was an avid boater, holding a | 16 |
| Captain's license with the U.S. Coast Guard, and was a Great | 17 |
| Lakes shipwreck diver; he enjoyed riding his Harley, which he | 18 |
| had customized with parts he manufactured, with his wife and | 19 |
| was an avid Chicago Bulls fan; and
| 20 |
| WHEREAS, The death of James E. Haberski will be deeply felt | 21 |
| by many, including his wife, "Miss Joanie"; his mother, Lottie | 22 |
| Haberski; his brother, Thomas R. (Mary Reed) Haberski; his | 23 |
| sister, Delores (Eric) Gelston; his step-children, Ted P. | 24 |
| (Carrie) Petri, Kimberly R. (Jason) McGonegle, Davidson, | 25 |
| Jello, and Jimmy; his step-grandchildren, Seth, Kelsey, and | 26 |
| Cailyn; and his daughter, Colette Haberski; therefore, be it
| 27 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL | 28 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we express our deep | 29 |
| sorrow at the passing of James E. "Jimbo" (Dino) Haberski, and |

| we offer our heartfelt sympathy to his family and all who knew | 2 |
| and loved him; and be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 4 |

| condolences.
