| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were deeply saddened to | 3 |
| learn of the death of Harvey "Bud" Glover of Waukegan, on | 4 |
| Friday, August 4, 2006; and
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born on June 14, 1942 to Frazier Glover and | 6 |
| Julia Brown in Fayetteville, Georgia; he began his schooling in | 7 |
| College Park, Georgia; in 1953 moved to Waukegan and began | 8 |
| attending school there, eventually graduating from Waukegan | 9 |
| High School; and
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, He was united in marriage to the former Odessa | 11 |
| Rose Thompson on July 22, 1968; and
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, He recently had retired from employment at Great | 13 |
| Lakes; and
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Harvey "Bud" Glover has been deeply | 15 |
| felt by many, especially his son, Brian Edward Glover; his | 16 |
| daughters, Jaquelyn (Ronnie) Shepard and Rachel Ann Glover; his | 17 |
| brothers, Richard (Earline) Brown and Gary Brown; his sisters, | 18 |
| Bette White, Jean Holmes, and Virginia Taylor; his cousin, | 19 |
| Christine Crofton; his companion of 25 years, Sandra Dunn; his | 20 |
| stepchildren, Tiffany Dunn, Shannon (Craig) Jones, and Vincent | 21 |
| Dunn; a very close-knit group of friends, a multitude of | 22 |
| in-laws, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other | 23 |
| dear friends; he was preceded in deathy by his wife, Odessa; | 24 |
| his brother, Thomas J. Brown; his father, Frazier Glover; and | 25 |
| his mother, Julia Brown; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL | 27 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 28 |
| Harvey "Bud" Glover, and we extend our sincere condolences to | 29 |
| his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 30 |
| further
