| AN ACT concerning State employees.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the State |
5 |
| Travel Expense Reimbursement Act. |
6 |
| Section 5. Travel expense reimbursement. No State funds |
7 |
| shall be used to pay or reimburse, and no State-compensated |
8 |
| time shall be used by, a person elected to, appointed to, |
9 |
| acting on behalf of the State in, or employed full time, part |
10 |
| time, temporarily, or on a contractual basis in a position in |
11 |
| the executive branch of State government for travel to or from |
12 |
| that person's State work location in the State capital.
