1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4683
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4683 on page 2, by
3 inserting immediately below line 7 the following:
4 "(d) Subsection (a) of this Section does not apply to sworn
5 law enforcement officers utilizing a facsimile smoke detector,
6 sprinkler head, carbon monoxide alarm, heat detector, or any
7 other similar device in furtherance of a criminal
8 investigation.".
