1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 113
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 113 as follows:

3 on page 3, by replacing lines 8 through 19 with the following:
4 "adoption and filing.
5     Notwithstanding any provision in this Section to the
6 contrary, if an ordinance or resolution under this Section
7 imposes or discontinues a tax or changes the tax rate as of
8 July 1, 2007, then that ordinance or resolution must be adopted
9 and a certified copy of that ordinance or resolution must be
10 filed with the Department on or before May 1, 2007, whereupon
11 the Department shall proceed to administer and enforce this
12 Section as of July 1, 2007.
