1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2461
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2461 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The Covering ALL KIDS Health Insurance Act is
5 amended by changing Section 30 as follows:

6     (215 ILCS 170/30)
7     (Section scheduled to be repealed on July 1, 2011)
8     Sec. 30. Program outreach and marketing. The Department may
9 provide grants to application agents and other community-based
10 organizations to educate the public about the availability of
11 the Program. The Department shall adopt rules regarding
12 performance standards and outcomes measures expected of
13 organizations that are awarded grants under this Section,
14 including penalties for nonperformance of contract standards.
15 The Department shall permit private employers, as defined in
16 the Day and Temporary Labor Services Act and doing business in

1 Illinois, to enroll as unpaid application agents.

3     Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect January
4 1, 2009.".
