1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2855
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2855 on page 2, by
3 inserting immediately below line 18 the following:
4 "(a-5) Telecommunications carriers, commercial mobile
5 service providers, and providers of information services,
6 including, but not limited to, Internet service providers and
7 hosting service providers, are not liable under this Section by
8 virtue of the transmission, storage, or caching of electronic
9 communications or messages of others or by virtue of the
10 provision of other related telecommunications, commercial
11 mobile services, or information services used by others in
12 violation of this Section.".
