| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to express | 3 |
| their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Jimmy | 4 |
| Dean Anderson of Carterville, who passed away on January 6, | 5 |
| 2007; and
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, He was born on October 29, 1943 in Herrin; his | 7 |
| parents were James Everett and Afton Kathleen (Hogue) Anderson; | 8 |
| he married Janet Oxford on March 6, 1974 in Marion;
and
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Anderson was a former coal miner at Freeman 3 | 10 |
| and was a member of the United Mine Workers Association; he was | 11 |
| also a member of Community Chapel in Marion; and
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Anderson served his country with the United | 13 |
| States Marines during the Vietnam War; and
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Jimmy Dean Anderson is survived by his wife, Janet | 15 |
| Anderson; his father, James Everett "J.E." Anderson; his | 16 |
| daughters, Monica Sue Kubish and Wendy Sue Stepp; his sons, | 17 |
| Patrick Dale Anderson and Eric James Anderson; his three | 18 |
| grandchildren, including Jacob Michael Anderson; his sister, | 19 |
| Cheryl McEvers and her husband, Terry; his brother, Jack L. | 20 |
| Anderson and his wife, Kim; his uncle, Jerry Ray Anderson; his | 21 |
| aunts, Imogene Harris and her husband, Bob, and Norma Sims and |

| her husband, Bob; his nieces and nephews; and his several | 2 |
| cousins; and
| 3 |
| WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his mother; one son, | 4 |
| Jason Everett Anderson; and his grandparents; therefore, be it
| 5 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL | 6 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 7 |
| his family and friends, the passing of Jimmy Dean Anderson; and | 8 |
| be it further
| 9 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 10 |
| presented to the family of Jimmy Dean Anderson as an expression | 11 |
| of our deepest sympathy.
