1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1306
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1306 on page 2, by
3 replacing lines 18 through 20 with the following: "submitted to
4 the administrators of the Capital Development Board
5 Procurement Bulletin and ~~announced in~~ the Illinois Procurement
6 Bulletin for publication and through at least one public
7 notice, at least 30 ~~14~~"; and

8 on page 4, by replacing lines 20 through 22 with the following:
9 "submitted to the administrators of the Capital Development
10 Board Procurement Bulletin and the ~~published in the next~~
11 ~~available subsequent~~ Illinois Procurement Bulletin for
12 publication."; and

13 on page 5, immediately below line 18, by inserting the
14 following:
15 "Any consultant, architect, engineer, designer, or other
16 drafter of specifications who assists the school district or

1 vocational center in the preparation of specifications shall
2 not submit a bid or proposal to meet the procurement need
3 unless the body authorizing the contract or agreement
4 determines in writing that there will be no substantial
5 conflict of interest involved. This written notice shall be
6 published in each volume of the Illinois Procurement Bulletin
7 with the Request for Proposal.".
