415 ILCS 97/55

    Amends the Mercury Switch Removal Act. Extends the repeal date of the Act from January 1, 2011 to January 1, 2017. Effective immediately.

1     AN ACT concerning safety.

2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:

4     Section 5. The Mercury Switch Removal Act is amended by
5 changing Section 55 as follows:

6     (415 ILCS 97/55)
7     (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2011)
8     Sec. 55. Repealer. This Act is repealed on January 1, 2017
9 ~~2011~~.

11     Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
12 becoming law.
