AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 39

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 39, on page 8, line 2, by replacing "A leave" with "Provided the teacher applies to the System within 6 months after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 96th General Assembly, a leave"; and

on page 11, by replacing lines 17 and 18 with the following: "June 30, 1977, 4% per year; from on or after July 1, 1977 to the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 96th General Assembly, regular interest; after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 96th General Assembly, interest at the actuarially assumed rate.".
