| AN ACT concerning real property.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
| 4 |
| Section 5. Upon payment to the Department of Corrections of | 5 |
| the sum equal to the appraised fair market value determined in | 6 |
| accordance with Section 10, the Director of such Department, on | 7 |
| behalf of the State of Illinois, is authorized to execute and | 8 |
| deliver to Will County a quit claim deed to the following | 9 |
| described real property, provided the grantee pays the | 10 |
| appraisal, land survey, title and closing costs, to wit: | 11 |
| THAT PART OF THE REAL ESTATE IN THE EAST HALF OF THE | 12 |
| EAST HALF OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 29 AND THE | 13 |
| WEST HALF OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 29, TOWNSHIP | 14 |

| Section 10. The appraised fair market value of the real | 2 |
| property described in Section 5 shall be determined by 3 | 3 |
| independent State certified general real estate appraisers | 4 |
| whose appraisal reports shall be subject to review and | 5 |
| certification by the Department of Corrections. The legal | 6 |
| description of such real property shall be subject to review | 7 |
| and approval by the Department of Corrections. | 8 |
| Section 15. The payment for the appraisal, land survey, | 9 |
| title and closing costs, and the amount of the appraised fair | 10 |
| market value of the real property to the Department of | 11 |
| Corrections, as provided in Section 5, shall be deposited into | 12 |
| the General Revenue Fund. | 13 |
| Section 20. The Director of Corrections shall obtain a | 14 |
| certified copy of this Act within 60 days after its effective | 15 |
| date and, upon receipt of payment required by Section 5, shall | 16 |
| record the certified document in the recorder's office in the | 17 |
| county in which the real property is located.
| 18 |
| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | 19 |
| becoming law.
