1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3295
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3295 on page 20,
3 line 22, by inserting "as required by law or" after "only"; and

4 on page 24, by replacing lines 8 through 11 with the following:
5 "(a) The Department of State Police shall retain records
6 sealed under subsection (c)or (e) of Section 5.2 or impounded
7 under subparagraph (B) of paragraph (9) of subsection (d) of
8 Section 5.2 and shall release them only as authorized by this
9 Act. Felony records sealed under subsection (c) or (e) of
10 Section 5.2 or impounded under subparagraph (B) of paragraph
11 (9) of subsection (d)of Section 5.2 shall be used"; and

12 on page 24, line 22, by inserting "or impounded" after
13 "sealed"; and

14 on page 25, line 1, by inserting "or impounded" after "sealed".
