| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The House Prosecutor has exhibited an article of | 3 |
| impeachment against Governor Rod R. Blagojevich and has filed | 4 |
| the House impeachment record with the Secretary; and
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, The impeachment trial of Governor Rod R. | 6 |
| Blagojevich is now pending before the Senate; and
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, An initial schedule for those proceedings should | 8 |
| be established; therefore, be it
| 9 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL | 10 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that the following schedule | 11 |
| for the impeachment trial of Governor Rod R. Blagojevich is | 12 |
| established, subject to revision by the President or as | 13 |
| otherwise provided in the Senate Impeachment Rules:

| *Issuance of summons to Governor Rod R. Blagojevich.

| Saturday, January 17, 2009:
