| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 |
| learn of the death of
Lois Deane Tippin of Springfield; and
| 4 |
| WHEREAS, Lois Tippin was born on September 6, 1948, in | 5 |
| Jacksonville; her parents were Maurice and Helen Driver; she | 6 |
| married Daryl Tippin on July 21, 1979; and
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Lois Tippin was a graduate of Jacksonville High | 8 |
| School; she earned her bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois | 9 |
| University; and
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Lois Tippin was employed at McGraw-Hill as a Plan | 11 |
| Center Coordinator for 14 years; she was also a former | 12 |
| teacher's aide in School District #186 and an interior | 13 |
| designer; and
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Lois Tippin was a member of St. John's Lutheran | 15 |
| Church in Springfield; and | 16 |
| WHEREAS, Lois Tippin enjoyed gardening, working in her | 17 |
| flower beds, spending time with her family and friends, and | 18 |
| animals, particularly her cat, Buster; and
| 19 |
| WHEREAS, Lois Tippin is survived by her parents; her |

| siblings, Connie (Gary) Braner and Wes Driver; her children, | 2 |
| Joshua and Jenna; her former husband, Daryl; her 2 aunts; and | 3 |
| her many cousins, nieces, and nephews; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL | 5 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 6 |
| her family and friends, the passing of Lois Deane Tippin; and | 7 |
| be it further
| 8 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 9 |
| presented to the family of Lois Tippin as an expression of our | 10 |
| sympathy.
