| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 |
| learn of the death of Mary Louise "Lou" Esparza of Gurnee, who | 4 |
| passed away on March 5, 2010; and
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, She was born September 10, 1946 in Houston, Texas; | 6 |
| and
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, She retired from Cardinal Health in 2007 after 18 | 8 |
| years of employment; she attended St. Paul the Apostle Church | 9 |
| in Gurnee and the Warren Township Senior Citizen's; and
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, She loved to knit, garden, cook, and enjoyed | 11 |
| antiques; and
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her father, Cruz | 13 |
| Torres; and
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Mary Louise Esparza is survived by her husband, | 15 |
| Trinidad Esparza, Jr.; her two sons and one daughter, Trinidad, | 16 |
| III, Denica Denise Esparza, and Troy Tobias; her five | 17 |
| grandchildren, Anthony, Zackery, Ivorie, Troy, Jr., and | 18 |
| Dillon; her mother, Cathy Cantu; and her two sisters, her twin, | 19 |
| Mary Helen Salazar and Cathy Aguirre; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL | 2 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 3 |
| her family and friends, the passing of Mary Louise Esparza; and | 4 |
| be it further
| 5 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 6 |
| presented to the family of Mary Louise "Lou" Esparza as a | 7 |
| symbol of our sincere sympathy.
