| SENATE RESOLUTION
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 |
| learn of the death of
Linda Welte of Palmyra, who passed away | 4 |
| on April 9, 2010; and
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Linda Welte was born on June 25, 1946, in Peoria; | 6 |
| her parents were Lynn and Jean Boatman; she married Tim Welte | 7 |
| on June 28, 1964, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Girard; and
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Linda Welte attended and graduated from | 9 |
| Carlinville High School in 1964; and
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Linda Welte was employed with the Northwestern | 11 |
| School District for over 30 years as a bus driver; she also | 12 |
| worked as an individual teacher's aide during the last several | 13 |
| years of her career; and
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Linda Welte was a member of the Palmyra Christian | 15 |
| Church for over 25 years; at the time of her passing, she was a | 16 |
| member of Carlinville Southern Baptist Church, where she was | 17 |
| able to worship with her entire family; and | 18 |
| WHEREAS, Linda Welte enjoyed being outside, enjoying the | 19 |
| beauty of nature, working on various outside projects, and | 20 |
| being with and doing things with her family; and

| WHEREAS, Linda Welte was preceded in death by her father; | 2 |
| and
| 3 |
| WHEREAS, Linda Welte is survived by her husband, Tim Welte; | 4 |
| her son, Troy Welte; her daughter, Tammy (Bill) Konneker; her | 5 |
| granddaughters, Morgan Konneker, Amanda Welte, and Adrian | 6 |
| Welte; and her mother; therefore, be it
| 7 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL | 8 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 9 |
| her family and friends, the passing of Linda Welte; and be it | 10 |
| further
| 11 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 12 |
| presented to the family of Linda Welte as an expression of our | 13 |
| sympathy.
