2 AMENDMENT NO. ___. Amend House Joint Resolution 27 on page
3 2, line 22, by replacing "Illinois Route 2" with "old Illinois
4 Route 2"; and

5 on page 2, line 23, by replacing "Illinois Route 2" with "old
6 Illinois Route 2"; and

7 on page 2, line 26, by replacing "Illinois Route 2" with "old
8 Illinois Route 2"; and

9 on page 3, by replacing lines 2 through 5 with the following:

10 "RESOLVED, That the Illinois Department of Transportation
11 and units of local government that maintain any portions of the
12 Rock River Scenic Route are requested to erect at suitable
13 locations on their respective portions of the route, consistent
14 with State and federal regulations, plaques or signs giving
