| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of
Joyce E. Johnson of Waukegan, who passed | 4 | | away on March 3, 2011; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Joyce Johnson was born on May 27, 1937, in | 6 | | Waukegan; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Joyce Johnson served as the school nurse at Warren | 8 | | High School in Gurnee from 1970 until her retirement in 2004; | 9 | | and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Joyce Johnson was a very involved member of the | 11 | | Most Blessed Trinity Parish in Waukegan and North Chicago, | 12 | | where she served as an Extraordinary Minister and a Homebound | 13 | | and Hospital Eucharistic Minister; she was a former member of | 14 | | the Parish Council and served on the School Board of the old | 15 | | Holy Family Parish in North Chicago and the Queen of Peace | 16 | | Parish Council in North Chicago; she was also a member of the | 17 | | Lake County Catholic Nurses Association and the Lake County | 18 | | Right to Life organization; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Joyce Johnson was preceded in death by her | 20 | | parents, Arthur and Bernice; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Joyce Johnson is survived by her husband of 50 | 2 | | years, Ron Johnson; her sons, Jeff Johnson and Ronald (Julie) | 3 | | Johnson Jr.; her daughters, Debbie (Randy) Fabry, Robin | 4 | | (Christopher) Fabry, and Lynn (Douglas) Byron; her | 5 | | grandchildren, Ryan and Hannah Fabry; Allison and Kayce Fabry, | 6 | | Derek and Kyle Johnson, and Courtney and Reilly Byron; and her | 7 | | many extended family members and friends; therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 10 | | her family and friends, the passing of Joyce E. Johnson; and be | 11 | | it further
| 12 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 13 | | presented to the family of Joyce Johnson as an expression of | 14 | | our sympathy.
