| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Charles E. "Chuck" Pastore of Lockport, | 4 | | who passed away on October 4, 2011; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, He was born in Joliet and lived in Lockport most | 6 | | of his life; he was retired from the Lockport Township Fire | 7 | | District after 35 years of service; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, He was the owner of C. Pastore and Sons Plumbing; | 9 | | he was a member of St. Dennis Church and was a Eucharistic | 10 | | Minister for many years; he was also active in the Men's Club | 11 | | and the Art and Environment Committee; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, He was an avid golfer and one of the first members | 13 | | of the Lockport Golf and Recreation Club; he was also an avid | 14 | | fisherman and hunter; and he served as Lockport Township | 15 | | Precinct Committeeman; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles | 17 | | and Shirley (Onderisin) Pastore; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Charles Pastore is survived by his loving and | 19 | | devoted wife of 48 years, Linda (Murphy); his children, Charles | 20 | | "Skip" (Ann Marie) and Kevin (Jenna); his grandchildren, |

| 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | 7 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 8 | | his family and friends, the passing of Charles Pastore; and be | 9 | | it further
| 10 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 11 | | presented to the family of Charles E. "Chuck" Pastore as a | 12 | | symbol of our sincere sympathy.
