| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of
Harold Wesley Fisher, Sr., who passed | 4 | | away on August 5, 2012; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Harold Fisher, Sr. was born on February 20, 1930, | 6 | | in Waukegan; his parents were David Fisher, Sr. and Alma Fisher | 7 | | Harold; he married Ernestine Lewis in May of 1957; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Harold Fisher, Sr. was a graduate of Waukegan High | 9 | | School; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Harold Fisher, Sr. served his country with pride | 11 | | as a member of the United States Army during the Korean | 12 | | Conflict; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Harold Fisher, Sr. retired from US Steel after 30 | 14 | | years of employment; after his retirement, he was employed with | 15 | | the City of North Chicago Streets Department and as a school | 16 | | crossing guard; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, As an active member of the Rufus Mitchell Lodge | 18 | | No. 107, Harold Fisher, Sr. was the recipient of numerous | 19 | | awards, including his award in 1992 for his dedicated service | 20 | | to Shawall as 2nd Ceremonial Master, his award in 1996 for his |

| 1 | | outstanding service as Senior Deacon, and his award in 2000 for | 2 | | outstanding service to Rufus Mitchell Lodge No. 107 as a 33 | 3 | | Worshipful Master; and | 4 | | WHEREAS, Harold Fisher, Sr. was preceded in death by his | 5 | | parents; and | 6 | | WHEREAS, Harold Fisher, Sr. is survived by his wife, | 7 | | Ernestine; his son, Harold, Jr. (Denise); his daughter, Pamela | 8 | | Fisher Cowan; his sister, Vera George (James); his brother, | 9 | | Ernest Fisher (Betty); and his many special nieces, nephews, | 10 | | cousins, and friends; therefore, be it
