1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2544
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2544 on page 2,
3 after line 22, by inserting the following:

4     "Section 30. Application of Act. Nothing in this Act
5 applies to an accountable care organization owned or operated
6 by or affiliated with any of the following:
7         (1) The Cook County Health and Hospitals System.
8         (2) The University of Illinois.
9         (3) A hospital licensed under the Hospital Licensing
10     Act.
11         (4) A hospital affiliate as defined in the Hospital
12     Licensing Act.".
