1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4080
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4080, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No.
4 1, on page 8, by replacing lines 25 and 26 with the following:

5         "(4) the petitioner did not by his or her own conduct
6     voluntarily cause or bring about his or her conviction;
7     however, neither a confession nor admission later found to
8     be false constitutes bringing about his or her own
9     conviction under this Section ~~by his or her own conduct~~
10     ~~voluntarily cause or bring about his or her conviction~~.";
11     and

12 on page 9, by deleting lines 1 through 5.
