| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Ross | 4 | | Kenneth MacNeill, who passed away on May 13, 2013; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Ross MacNeill was born on March 8, 2002; his | 6 | | parents are Ross and Kim MacNeill; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Ross MacNeill was a student at Longfellow | 8 | | Elementary School in Wheaton; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Ross MacNeill was a very proud hockey Squirt of | 10 | | the Admirals Hockey Club at Center Ice in Glen Ellyn; he began | 11 | | playing hockey at the age of 5 and skated his final game in | 12 | | February of 2013; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Ross MacNeill's life was defined by his motto, | 14 | | "Life Is Good"; he served as a model to everyone he knew and | 15 | | loved through his joy, courage, compassion, and loyalty; and | 16 | | WHEREAS, Ross MacNeill's spirit will always live in the | 17 | | hearts he left behind and his intangible characteristics will | 18 | | always endure - his kindness, love, strength, sensitivity, and | 19 | | goodness; Ross MacNeill's influence will walk each day with | 20 | | those who loved him, guiding and supporting them in his |

| 1 | | absence; and | 2 | | WHEREAS, Ross MacNeill was preceded in death by his | 3 | | paternal grandfather, Morley Kenneth "Poppy" MacNeill; and
| 4 | | WHEREAS, Ross MacNeill is survived by his parents; his | 5 | | sister, Rachel; his beloved grandparents, Marion MacNeill | 6 | | "Nanny" and Don "PawPaw" and Evelyn "Momo" Magruder; his aunts, | 7 | | Dee Magruder and Barb; his uncles, Kyle Magruder, Blair | 8 | | MacNeill, and Tony; and his cousins, Robert and Catherine | 9 | | Kesman; therefore, be it
| 10 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | 11 | | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | 12 | | we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of | 13 | | Ross Kenneth MacNeill; and be it further
