| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Howard | 4 | | Johnson of Peoria, who passed away on November 14, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Howard Johnson was born on January 12, 1943 in | 6 | | Peoria; his parents were Roy and Anna Johnson; he married Betty | 7 | | Smith on July 31, 1968 in Peoria; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Howard Johnson worked for P.J. Hoerr, Inc. for 22 | 9 | | years until his retirement in 1991; he later became the owner | 10 | | and operator of the Jon-Del Construction Company; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Howard Johnson was a member of Laborers | 12 | | International Union of North America Local 165, the Atomic | 13 | | Jets, and the Outcast Motorcycle Club; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Howard Johnson was preceded in death by his | 15 | | parents; his wife, Betty; a son, Roy Cockfield; 2 brothers, | 16 | | Thomas and Walter Johnson; and 2 sisters, Dora Brown and Carol | 17 | | White; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Howard Johnson is survived by 6 children, Alesia | 19 | | Wilkinson, Donald (Karen) Smith, Bruce Cockfield, Linnie | 20 | | (Patricia) Cockfield, Parrish (Tanya) Johnson, and Howard |
