| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Noah | 4 | | Christian Moore of Danvers, who passed away peacefully | 5 | | surrounded by family and friends on November 12, 2014 after a | 6 | | heroic battle with cancer; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Noah Moore devoted his life to the people who | 8 | | mattered most, his beloved family, his dear friends, and his | 9 | | valued co-workers; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Noah Moore also dedicated his life and career to | 11 | | helping others; he worked as a senior technician for the | 12 | | Illinois Eye-Bank for 5 years and worked tirelessly to give the | 13 | | gift of sight to those in need; he traveled tens of thousands | 14 | | of miles, across state borders, often during the middle of the | 15 | | night, to recover donor tissue that would help someone see | 16 | | again; and | 17 | | WHEREAS, Noah Moore was actively involved with the Boy | 18 | | Scouts of America, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout; he was | 19 | | passionate about supporting the Scouting program throughout | 20 | | his life and demonstrated strong leadership as he served as | 21 | | troop leader for Boy Scout Troop 27 in Danvers; and |

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Noah Moore selflessly dedicated his time and | 2 | | unique talents to better his community, a place that loved him | 3 | | as much as he loved it; he served as a volunteer firefighter | 4 | | for the Danvers Fire Department, where he was active on the | 5 | | color guard for the department and made a lasting impression on | 6 | | everyone around him; and | 7 | | WHEREAS, Noah Moore was prominent in Danvers for his | 8 | | unmatched dedication to volunteer work; he was also active in | 9 | | the Danvers Lions Club and was a longtime member of the Danvers | 10 | | Baptist Church, where his passion for the improvement of his | 11 | | community and the welfare of his fellow man grew; and | 12 | | WHEREAS, Noah Moore loved reveling in the tranquility of | 13 | | the outdoors; he was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed | 14 | | hunting, fishing, and camping; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Noah Moore cherished his family most of all; he | 16 | | will be remembered as a loyal friend; a loving father to his 2 | 17 | | wonderful sons, Ethan and Eli; and a devoted husband to his | 18 | | dear wife, Stephanie; most importantly, he will be remembered | 19 | | for his unyielding commitment to making a difference in the | 20 | | lives of others; and
| 21 | | WHEREAS, Noah Moore was preceded in death by his maternal | 22 | | and paternal grandparents; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Noah Moore is survived by his wife of 5 years, | 2 | | Stephanie; his 2 children, Ethan and Eli Moore; his mother, | 3 | | Marsha (Danny-Joe) Albert; his father, Michael (Lillie) Moore; | 4 | | 3 brothers, including Christopher Moore; 3 sisters, Adrienne | 5 | | Kurtz, Erica Kurtz, and Angela Moore; his mother-in-law and | 6 | | father-in-law, Ruth Ann and Mike Fogler; his sister-in-law, | 7 | | Heidi (Gary) Kitchcart; and his brother-in-law, Scott (Shari) | 8 | | Fogler; therefore, be it
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | 10 | | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | 11 | | we mourn the passing of Noah Christian Moore, and extend our | 12 | | sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew | 13 | | and loved him; and be it further
