1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1623
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1623 on page 1, by
3 replacing lines 12 through 15 with the following:
4 "guardians of a newborn child in a neonatal intensive care unit
5 shall be informed about the importance of parents, guardians,
6 and immediate family members being immunized against pertussis
7 to minimize the chances that the disease will be communicated
8 to the newborn child and shall also be informed about where
9 they may obtain the appropriate vaccine.".
