| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Edwin C. Stoyanoff of Waukegan, who | 4 | | passed away on January 14, 2013; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Edwin Stoyanoff was born on April 3, 1927, in | 6 | | Waukegan to Christ and Stella (nee Czija) Stoyanoff; he married | 7 | | Joan Zoph; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Edwin Stoyanoff worked for, and retired from, | 9 | | Outboard Marine Corporation after 43 years in Marine | 10 | | Engineering; he was a veteran of World War II and the Korean | 11 | | War, serving in the U.S. Navy SeaBees; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Edwin Stoyanoff was a 3rd degree member of Council | 13 | | 731 of the Knights of Columbus, a member of the Waukegan | 14 | | Citizens Police Academy, and former member of the Waukegan Elks | 15 | | Lodge; he was a member of St. Anastasia Parish, the Holy Name | 16 | | Society, and was a founder of St. Anastasia Bingo; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Edwin Stoyanoff was preceded in death by his | 18 | | parents and his sister, Rose Traynoff; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Edwin Stoyanoff is survived by his wife of 58 | 20 | | years, Joan; his children, Christopher (Linda) Stoyanoff, |
