| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Thomas M. Moore of Godfrey, who passed | 4 | | away on July 13, 2013; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Thomas Moore was born on August 27, 1934 in | 6 | | Orange, New Jersey; his parents were Martin and Dorothy (nee | 7 | | McMickle) Moore; he married Marjorie Connell on November 10, | 8 | | 1956 in Medford, Massachusetts; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Thomas Moore was employed by Allstate Insurance | 10 | | Company from 1959 to 1984; he subsequently worked for Millers | 11 | | Mutual Insurance as Senior Vice President in charge of | 12 | | Insurance Operations until his retirement in 1996; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Thomas Moore was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic | 14 | | Church; he was a member of Lockhaven Country Club and the | 15 | | club's Board of Directors; he was also a member of the Board of | 16 | | Directors and the Executive Committee at St. Anthony's Health | 17 | | Center and served as Chairman of St. Anthony's Finance | 18 | | Committee; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Thomas Moore was preceded in death by his parents; | 20 | | and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Thomas Moore is survived by his wife, Margi; his | 2 | | sons and their spouses, Michael Moore, Timothy Moore, Steven | 3 | | (Amy) Moore, and David (Ginny) Moore; his grandchildren, Danny, | 4 | | Joe, Emily (fiance, Nick Knight), Tom, Chris, Katherine, | 5 | | Danielle, Holly, and Jack Moore; and his sister, Patricia Karg; | 6 | | therefore, be it
| 7 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | 8 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | 9 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Thomas M. Moore; and | 10 | | be it further
| 11 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 12 | | presented to the family of Thomas Moore as an expression of our | 13 | | sympathy.
