| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of William Fredrick Behrens of Park City, | 4 | | who passed away on September 1, 2013; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, William Behrens was born on January 17, 1931 in | 6 | | Lake Forest and remained a resident of Lake Forest throughout | 7 | | his life; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, William Behrens served his country in the United | 9 | | States Army during the Korean War, having attained the rank of | 10 | | private first class; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, William Behrens was a member of the Veteran of | 12 | | Foreign Wars, and Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 73; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, William Behrens was preceded in death by his wife, | 14 | | Vivian Lee (nee Smith) Behrens; his brother, George Behrens; | 15 | | and his sister, Gretchen Cummins; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, William Behrens is survived by his children, | 17 | | William Michael Behrens, Andra Lee (Patrick) Norton, David | 18 | | Charles (Amy) Behrens, and Bradley Thomas Behrens; his | 19 | | grandchildren, Lauren, Evan, and Abigail; his siblings, | 20 | | Marianne Schmitt, Alfred Britz, and Barbara Bentley; and his |
