| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of George W. Rose, Jr. of Woodstock, who | 4 | | passed away on February 19, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, George Rose, Jr. was born on February 14, 1927 in | 6 | | Clear Lake, Iowa; his parents were George and Mary (nee Holmes) | 7 | | Rose; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, George Rose, Jr. graduated from Mason City High | 9 | | School in 1947; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, George Rose, Jr. was a resident of Woodstock for | 11 | | over 50 years; he served the McHenry County area for years as a | 12 | | technician for the Dairy Herd Improvement Association; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, George Rose, Jr. was preceded in death by his | 14 | | parents; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, George Rose, Jr. is survived by his children, | 16 | | Cynthia Rose Lubecke, Dennis Lubecke, Elizabeth Rose Kamp, Dan | 17 | | Kamp, Janaan Rose, and Melodee Singh; his grandchildren, | 18 | | Clinton Selzer and Serena Selzer (Robert) Montgomery; his | 19 | | great-grandchildren, RJ Montgomery and Sierra Rose Montgomery; | 20 | | and his cousins, Maxine Eldridge, Carolyn Albers, and Lois |
