| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Mary Ann Earls, who passed away on April | 4 | | 3, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Mary Ann Earls was born on March 12, 1948 in | 6 | | Waukegan, Illinois; her parents were Arthur Lee and Mary | 7 | | Elizabeth Bell; she married Aaron Earls, Sr. on April 17, 1976; | 8 | | she was blessed with 3 children, Sonja M. Emziah (James), | 9 | | Krystal M. Earls, and Aaron Earls, Jr., 4 grandchildren, Ebonee | 10 | | N. Emziah, Xaviar J. Emziah, Zachary W. Emziah, and Janae E. | 11 | | Jones, and one great-grandchild, Jerimiah W. Emziah; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Mary Ann Earls accepted the Lord at an early age; | 13 | | she joined First Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church under | 14 | | Rev. Jonas Porter; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Mary Ann Earls was a member of Emblem Chapter #140 | 16 | | Order of the Eastern Stars (Past Worthy Grand Matron), North | 17 | | Shore Assembly #59 Order of the Golden Circle (Past Loyal Lady | 18 | | Ruler Heroines of Jericho), North Shore Court #73 (Past Most | 19 | | Ancient Matron), James E. Anderson #4, Ladies of Circle of | 20 | | Perfection, Shawall Court #4 Daughters of Isis (Past | 21 | | Illustrious Commandress and Past Imperial Deputy of the Oasis), | 22 | | Waukegan Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta - Six Degrees of |

Bell (Sandra), DeCount Bell, Sr. | 9 | | (Brenda), Frederick A. Bell, Michael A. Bell, and James A. | 10 | | Bell; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, and | 11 | | friends; therefore, be it
