| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Michael E. McKenzie of Marengo, who | 4 | | passed away on September 11, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Michael McKenzie was born on October 31, 1961 in | 6 | | Columbus, Ohio; his parents were Cloyce "Doc" and Bonnie (nee | 7 | | Wise) McKenzie; he married Gina Moore on May 23, 1987 in | 8 | | Crystal Lake; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Michael McKenzie graduated from Delaware Hayes | 10 | | High School; he went on to receive degrees in electrical | 11 | | aviation and electronics and his FCC radio and telephone | 12 | | operator's license; and | 13 | | WHEREAS, Michael McKenzie was the owner of Mike's | 14 | | Electrical Contracting; he also worked as the pool and spa | 15 | | electrical contractor for Meier's Outdoor World in Fox Lake; | 16 | | and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Michael McKenzie enjoyed working, spending time | 18 | | with his family, watching the Bears, and having a cold beer | 19 | | after a long day at work; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Michael McKenzie was preceded in death by his |

| 1 | | grandparents; his mother and father-in-law; an aunt, Mary | 2 | | Terrell; an uncle, Larry Dale McKenzie; and 2 cousins; and
| 3 | | WHEREAS, Michael McKenzie is survived by his parents; his | 4 | | wife, Gina; 3 sons, Michael, Ryan, and Richard; a brother, | 5 | | David (Julie); 3 grandchildren, Joseph, Avery, and Ayden; a | 6 | | sister-in-law, Kim (Jerry) Marsh; a brother-in-law, David | 7 | | (Samantha) Moore; 2 nephews, Devin and Austin; 2 nieces, | 8 | | Jennifer and Meaghn; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins; | 9 | | therefore, be it
| 10 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | 11 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | 12 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of Michael E. McKenzie; | 13 | | and be it further
