| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Timothy "Tim" Charles Kuhfuss, formerly | 4 | | of Oak Park, who passed away on July 11, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Tim Kuhfuss was born in Chicago on June 28, 1961; | 6 | | he graduated from Ascension Catholic School and Fenwick High | 7 | | School in Oak Park; he earned his Bachelor of Science from | 8 | | Marquette University, his Master of Science from Johns Hopkins | 9 | | University, and his Master of Business Administration from the | 10 | | University of Chicago; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Tim Kuhfuss was the Director of Research Support | 12 | | for Information Technology at the University of Wyoming and | 13 | | past-CIO of Information Technology at Argonne National | 14 | | Laboratory in Lemont; he started his career at the National | 15 | | Institutes for Health in Bethesda, Maryland; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Tim Kuhfuss was an avid outdoorsman, sports | 17 | | enthusiast, and beer connoisseur; he had a passion for coaching | 18 | | basketball, cooking, sci-fi, technology, and fly fishing; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Tim Kuhfuss leaves behind his wife of 30 years, | 20 | | Colette "CeCe"; his daughter, Shannon; his son, Hunter; his | 21 | | parents, Chuck and Roberta (nee Stack) Kuhfuss; and his |

| 1 | | sisters, Linda (Tim) Keelan and Katie (Charles) Porretta; he | 2 | | was the son-in-law of Dan and Marilyn DeWitt; the | 3 | | brother-in-law of Michael (Susan) DeWitt, Phil DeWitt, and | 4 | | Renee (Jeff) Bisbee; the godfather of Jill Porretta and Rory | 5 | | Keelan; and the uncle of 13 nieces and nephews; therefore, be | 6 | | it
| 7 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | 8 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 9 | | Timothy "Tim" Charles Kuhfuss, and extend our sincere | 10 | | condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved | 11 | | him; and be it further
