| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Timothy D. Flynn of Bloomington, who | 4 | | passed away on October 26, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Timothy Flynn was born in Bloomington on November | 6 | | 17, 1954 to John A. and Margaret A. (nee Delmar) Flynn; he | 7 | | graduated from Central Catholic High School in Bloomington in | 8 | | 1972; he attended Parkland College in Champaign and graduated | 9 | | from the Worsham College of Mortuary Science in St. Joseph, | 10 | | Missouri in 1977; he married Mary Jo Dougherty on August 9, | 11 | | 1980 in Washington; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, After graduating, Timothy Flynn joined his father | 13 | | in the funeral business; he purchased the business from his | 14 | | father in 1987; he was a member of the McLean County Funeral | 15 | | Directors Association, the Illinois Funeral Directors | 16 | | Association, and the National Funeral Directors Association; | 17 | | and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Timothy Flynn was a lifelong member of Holy | 19 | | Trinity Catholic Church and a member of Knights of Columbus | 20 | | Council #574 Fr. John D. Ring, where he was a 4th Degree | 21 | | Knight; he enjoyed classic cars, the St. Louis Cardinals, | 22 | | boating, his weekly golf game, and, most of all, his |

| 2 | | WHEREAS, Timothy Flynn was preceded in death by his | 3 | | parents; 2 brothers, Patrick and James Flynn; and his sister, | 4 | | Anne Dunn; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Timothy Flynn is survived by his wife, Mary Jo; | 6 | | his 5 children, David (Megan) Flynn, Katherine (Greg) Mertens, | 7 | | Michael Flynn, Erin Flynn, and James Flynn; 3 grandchildren, | 8 | | Caroline, Emily, and Jack; 3 brothers, Michael (Jerrilyn) | 9 | | Flynn, George (Irene) Flynn, and Thomas Flynn; 2 sisters, | 10 | | Margaret "Peggy" Flynn and Kathleen "Curly" Flynn; his | 11 | | brother-in-law, David Dunn; and many nieces and nephews; | 12 | | therefore, be it
