1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2640
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2640 on page 8, line
3 2, by replacing "Act." with "Act; and ~~.~~
4     (21) that the board may ratify and confirm actions of the
5 members of the board taken in response to an emergency, as that
6 term is defined in subdivision (a)(8)(iv) of this Section; that
7 the board shall give notice to the unit owners of: (i) the
8 occurrence of the emergency event within 7 business days after
9 the emergency event, and (ii) the general description of the
10 actions taken to address the event within 7 days after the
11 emergency event.
12     The intent of this amendatory Act of the 99th General
13 Assembly is to empower and support boards to act in
14 emergencies.".
