1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2677
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2677 as follows:

3 on page 1, by replacing line 5 with: "changing Section 25 and
4 adding Section 27.1 as follows:"; and

5 on page 1, immediately below line 14, by inserting the
6 following:

7     "(215 ILCS 110/27.1 new)
8     Sec. 27.1. Reinsurance agreement; filing. A dental service
9 plan may enter into reinsurance agreements for dental service.
10 Any reinsurance agreement shall be subject to the provisions of
11 the laws of this State regarding reinsurance as provided in
12 Article XI of the Illinois Insurance Code. All reinsurance
13 agreements must be filed with the Director. A reinsurance
14 agreement which is not disapproved by the Director within 30
15 days after its submission shall be deemed approved.".
