| 4 | | "Section 5. The Massage Licensing Act is amended by adding | 5 | | Section 18 and by changing Section 32 as follows: | 6 | | (225 ILCS 57/18 new) | 7 | | Sec. 18. Forged or altered massage therapist license. | 8 | | (a) Any person who forges or alters a massage therapist | 9 | | license commits a Class 2 felony. | 10 | | (b) Any person who knowingly possesses a forged or altered | 11 | | massage therapist license with the intent to use it commits a | 12 | | Class 2 felony. A person who possesses a massage therapist | 13 | | license with knowledge that it is forged or altered commits a | 14 | | Class 2 felony. | 15 | | (c) Whoever knowingly aids, abets, assists, procures, | 16 | | advises, employs, or contracts with any person who knowingly |

Display. | 6 | | (a) Every holder of a license shall display it, or a copy, | 7 | | in a conspicuous place in the holder's principal office or any | 8 | | other location where the holder renders massage therapy | 9 | | services.

| 2 | | Sec. 1-10. Display. | 3 | | (a) Every holder of a
license shall display it in a place | 4 | | in the
holder's principal office, place of business or place of | 5 | | employment.
Whenever a licensed cosmetologist, esthetician, | 6 | | nail
technician, hair braider, or barber practices | 7 | | cosmetology, esthetics, nail technology, hair braiding, or
| 8 | | barbering outside of or away from the cosmetologist's, | 9 | | esthetician's, nail
technician's, hair braider's, or barber's | 10 | | principal office, place of business, or place of
employment, | 11 | | the cosmetologist, esthetician, nail technician, hair braider, | 12 | | or barber shall
provide any person so requesting proof that he | 13 | | or she has a valid license issued by the Department.
| 14 | | Every registered shop shall display its certificate of | 15 | | registration at the
location of the shop. Each shop where | 16 | | barber, cosmetology, esthetics, hair braiding, or nail
| 17 | | technology services are provided shall have a certificate of | 18 | | registration.
| 19 | | (b) Every holder of a nail technician license issued under | 20 | | Section 3C-11 of this Act shall display it, or a copy, in a | 21 | | conspicuous place in the holder's principal office or any other | 22 | | location where the holder renders nail technician services | 23 | | after receiving the license from the Department. | 24 | | (c) Any person who practices his or her profession under | 25 | | this Act without having in his or her possession a nail | 26 | | technician license issued in his or her name by the Department |

Forged or altered nail technician licenses. | 5 | | (a) Any person who forges or alters a nail technician | 6 | | license commits a Class 2 felony. | 7 | | (b) Any person who knowingly possesses a forged or altered | 8 | | nail technician license with the intent to use it commits a | 9 | | Class 2 felony. A person who possesses a nail technician | 10 | | license with knowledge that it is forged or altered commits a | 11 | | Class 2 felony. | 12 | | (c) Whoever knowingly aids, abets, assists, procures, | 13 | | advises, employs, or contracts with any person who knowingly | 14 | | possesses a forged or altered nail technician license with the | 15 | | intent to use it commits a Class 2 felony.
