HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Quenton "Q" Demarco Lowe of Peoria, who passed away on August 18, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Quenton Lowe was born on February 4, 1994 in Peoria; his parents were Arthur and Laginia (Jamison) Lowe; and

WHEREAS, Quenton Lowe was a 2012 graduate of Manual High School, where he was a member of the basketball team; he also attended and played basketball at Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield and Illinois Valley Community College in Oglesby; and

WHEREAS, Quenton Lowe was employed at Kroger as a cashier; he also worked at McDonald's as a cook; and

WHEREAS, Quenton Lowe was a member of Kingdom Temple Church of God in Christ, where he was active in the Youth Men of Integrity & Youth Department; and

WHEREAS, Quenton Lowe was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gene Thompson, Elizabeth Moore, and Johnnie Jamison; and

WHEREAS, Quenton Lowe is survived by his parents; his daughter, Ki'Yah Lowe; his grandmother, Betty Blocker; 3 brothers, Arthur, Timothy, and Malik Lowe; and 3 sisters, Kanieca, Kimberly, and LeeAnne Lowe; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Quenton "Q" Demarco Lowe; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Quenton Lowe as an expression of our sympathy.
