| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Alfred William Wilson, Jr. of North | 4 | | Chicago, who passed away on January 8, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Alfred Wilson, Jr. was born in Waukegan on | 6 | | November 17, 1934 to Alfred W., Sr. and Edna (nee White) | 7 | | Wilson; he served in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft | 8 | | Mechanic during the Korean War, receiving an Honorable | 9 | | Discharge; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Alfred Wilson, Jr. retired from Abbott | 11 | | Laboratories in 1983; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Alfred Wilson, Jr. participated in the Saturday | 13 | | Nite Live Bowling League and the North Shore Duffers (Golf) | 14 | | Club; he was a North Chicago Board of Education District 64 | 15 | | member, the first President of the North Chicago Boys' Baseball | 16 | | Organization, President of the North Chicago Rotary Club from | 17 | | 1976 to 1977, a United Way Board of Directors member from 1976 | 18 | | to 1981, and a member of the Heart Association of Lake County | 19 | | in 1975; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Alfred Wilson, Jr. is survived by his wife of 58 | 21 | | years, Loretta; his children, Dianna (Herman) Parker, Alfred |
