| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Walter "Butch" Barry of Harvard, who | 4 | | passed away on February 18, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Walter Barry was born in Woodstock on February 23, | 6 | | 1950 to Charles and Elizabeth (nee Tracy) Barry; he married | 7 | | Doris Nell on October 21, 1967 in Woodstock; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Walter Barry was a member of the Saddlebag Saloon; | 9 | | he enjoyed motorcycle riding, fishing, and music; most of all, | 10 | | he enjoyed spending time with his loving family and very dear | 11 | | friends; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Walter Barry was proud of his Native American | 13 | | heritage; he was a descendant of the Mesquakie Tribe and | 14 | | fascinated by Native American culture and lore; and | 15 | | WHEREAS, Walter Barry was preceded in death by his parents; | 16 | | his son, Bryan Barry; and his 2 sisters, Debbie Boliver and | 17 | | Brenda Lumby; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Walter Barry is survived by his wife of 47 years, | 19 | | Doris; his 3 daughters, Robin (Richard) Knapik, Lynette | 20 | | (Timothy) Ashmore, and Dawn VanHoorn; his 4 grandchildren, Mike |
