| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Paul D. Yaney of Spring Grove, who passed | 4 | | away on February 23, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Paul Yaney graduated from Monterey High School in | 6 | | Lubbock, Texas and then served as a gunner's mate in the United | 7 | | States Navy on board the U.S.S. Eisenhower, and later the | 8 | | U.S.S. Manitowoc, during the Gulf War; he earned an engineering | 9 | | degree from Northern Illinois University and a Master's of | 10 | | Business Administration from Webster University; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Paul Yaney worked at several Chicago-area | 12 | | manufacturing companies, most recently at ITW Kester INC. in | 13 | | Itasca; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Paul Yaney enjoyed the great outdoors; he was | 15 | | proud to have attained the rank of Eagle Scout and continued to | 16 | | take pleasure in camping and boating; he loved riding his | 17 | | motorcycle and captaining his boat on the weekends; he could | 18 | | often be found relaxing in his backyard by a bonfire or playing | 19 | | volleyball or softball with his family and friends; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Paul Yaney is survived by his wife of 4 years, | 21 | | Kim; his 2 children, Shannon Yaney and Rebecca Mielke; his |

| 5 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 6 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 7 | | Paul D. Yaney, and extend our sincere condolences to his | 8 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 9 | | further
