| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Edna M. Kiley of Crystal Lake, who passed | 4 | | away on March 14, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Edna Kiley was born in Crystal Lake on March 1, | 6 | | 1921 to Otto and Ida (nee Schwalger) Berkley; she graduated | 7 | | from Crystal Lake High School in 1939 and married Thomas Kiley | 8 | | in Crystal Lake on September 27, 1942; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Edna Kiley was a Sunday school teacher and Girl | 10 | | Scout leader; she loved fishing, gardening, and canning and | 11 | | excelled in bowling with which she stayed active until she was | 12 | | 87; she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, of which | 13 | | she was a past President; she especially loved being Poppy | 14 | | chairman; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Edna Kiley was preceded in death by her parents; | 16 | | her husband, Thomas; her daughters, Robin Caputo and Carol | 17 | | Bear; and her siblings, Ralph Berkley, Ken Berkley, Frances | 18 | | Jurs, Marion Johnson, and Vera Waggoner; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Edna Kiley is survived by her daughter, MaryAnn | 20 | | (Len) Miele; her son-in-law, Mark Bear; her grandchildren, Ann | 21 | | (Anthony) Deegan, Kelly (Steve) Pagel, Kim (Mark) Oshinski, |
