| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Robert Earl Johnson of Chicago, who | 4 | | passed away on May 23, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Robert Johnson was born in Lineville, Alabama on | 6 | | October 27, 1942 to Wiley General Lee Johnson, Sr. and Willie | 7 | | Mae Miles; he attended elementary school in Lineville and then | 8 | | completed his elementary education at Tennyson Elementary | 9 | | School in Chicago; he attended John Marshall High School and | 10 | | married Barbara Jean Bussie on October 10, 1964; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Robert Johnson worked for Heinemann's Bakery, the | 12 | | Inland Steel Company, and the Archer, Daniel, Midland Milling | 13 | | company, retiring after 31 years of service; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Robert Johnson was preceded in death by his | 15 | | parents; his mother-in-law, Gloria Demons; his grandson, | 16 | | DeMarco Arnez Powell; his siblings, Wiley Johnson, Jr., George | 17 | | Johnson, and Cozetia Johnson; his brother-in-law, Byron Eugene | 18 | | Demons, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Robert Johnson is survived by his wife of over 50 | 20 | | years, Barbara; his daughter, Patricia Ann "Trish Ann" | 21 | | (Michael) Powell; his 2 granddaughters, Michalah Jeane Patrice |
